Hello Knights,

With your annual $75 (discounted this year to $50):

  1. One 30 minute marketing session with Topaz Woodruff (MBA-Global Managagement/Marketing) or Autumn McClandon (MBA-Marketing) per year to assess and reassess your marketing platform.
  2. NC nail techs receive a discounted rate for their Continuing Education renewal class hours.
  3. Novice techs get access to all veteran nail techs with the nail industry help they need (via phone, handson, webclass, etc) for free.
  4. Early bird rate on all BKNT Networking Event tickets (No matter when they are purchased)
  5. Discounted rate on any BKNT Paraphernalia (i.e. the shirts are $35 you'd pay $25 or $28-whatever the rate is discounted).
  6. You'd recieve 2 official logos to put on any other paraphernalia you'd like from any printhouse (vistaprint, branders, etc.).
  7. If you have another business; placement on the Favorite links page of BKNT website.
  8. (Membership cards are in the works-just takes a lot of money to get them done, and to have the system to print them on and keep track of the members)
  9. Your dues also helps to pay for the venue when we have our events (those rooms aren't cheap-and ticket sales pick up the rest of the room rate)
  10. Working on getting permanent discount codes with nail industry companies/magazines so we can receive a discount for being a member and using their products. Soft Landings has already offered us one discount for a week. (Lord knows I used it, as long as we're working, you can never have too many table towels-LOVE THEM!)
  11. Keep the website going.

More perks are in the works. I didn't just create this association in 2006 to talk to nail techs. I created it to have perks, offer community service, and to have recognition in this industry. We have an executive board that meets to discuss the direction of this organization. Therefore, please don't think that paying your money is in vain and you'd be wasting it... No, we are doing wonderful things with the POSITIVE nail professionals we have on board.

Also, I am taking any other suggestions you may have into consideration.
